Course renovations.
- The 13th hole (par 4) has been extended by 50 metres to just short of 400 metres.
- New spectator mounds, offering the best possible views of the action: between the first, second and eighth greens, next to the 11th fairway, on the 13th green, and between the 16th green and the 18th fairway.
Support programme.
- Wednesday: Pro-Am tournament with numerous celebrities.
- Wednesday: BMW International Open Kids Day, at which school classes are offered a glimpse behind the scenes.
- Friday: “Golf Now –– Discover Passion” with special activities for non-golfers.
Eventarena.
- Covered event area with live stage and catering, in the heart of the Public Area.
- Entertainment after the close of play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Friday: DJane Andrea Weber from tournament partner Antenne Bayern.
- Saturday/Sunday: live band “Munique”.
BMW car exhibition.
- New products and highlights from the premium automobile manufacturer.
- BMW 5 Series with remote control parking.
- BMW M5.
- The BMW Customer Lounge on the 9th green is open to all visitors upon presentation of their BMW car key or vehicle registration document.
Directions.
- In good weather conditions, there are sufficient parking places at the tournament site.
- Free shuttle service between Ismaning S-Bahn station and the tournament site from Thursday to Sunday. Please note: there are no parking places at Ismaning S-Bahn station.
- Should poor weather make the car parks at the tournament site unusable, alternative car parks are available at the Allianz Arena. A shuttle service will run between the alternative car parks and the tournament site.
- During the tournament, DriveNow cars can be parked at no additional cost on the tournament premises.

- App to be updated with many new functions up to the tournament.
Admission fees.
- Free admission from Wednesday to Friday.
