The MINI John Cooper Works Convertible (combined fuel consumption: 7.1 – 6.8/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 161 - 155 g/km according to WLTP) turns the impressive Mediterranean landscape into a backdrop for motorsport feeling in the open air. With its typical go-kart dynamics and compact exterior dimensions, the convertible is ideal in an urban environment. A powerful 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine with a displacement of 1,998 cc gives the MINI John Cooper Works Convertible its sporty drive. With an output of 231 hp (170 kW) and a maximum torque of 380 Nm, the engine offers impressive driving dynamics and accelerates the model from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 245 km/h. The 7-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch enables fast gear changes for even more forward momentum. Shift paddles on the steering wheel allow the driver to change gear with individual precision without having to take their hands off the wheel.
The soft top is available in black or with a grey Union Jack pattern. It can be fully opened in just 18 seconds and at speeds of up to 30 km/h. In addition, the soft top can be opened to a length of 40 cm like a sunroof at any speed: This offers the driver and passengers an additional, exclusive option for open-air driving. The windscreen reduces unwanted air turbulence and wind noise in just a few simple steps for relaxed open-air driving pleasure at all times. With the practical and playful Always Open Timer, the OLED display in the cockpit shows how many hours you have been driving with the roof open.

The MINI John Cooper Works Convertible also stands out on the lively promenades of the region's hotspots thanks to its striking appearance. Air intakes and mirror caps in Chilli Red add sporty highlights to the classic British Racing Green paintwork. The front grille and side skirts in high-gloss black and the MINI LED headlights with horizontal daytime running lights in the JCW signature ensure a purist look. Exclusively on the MINI John Cooper Works Convertible, the rear diffuser is painted in body colour, continuing the consistent design language. Sporty bonnet stripes emphasize this: The MINI John Cooper Works Convertible is clearly part of the brand's racing tradition.
The consistent design is also continued in the interior: JCW sports seats in red and black guarantee optimum support, while the sports steering wheel in JCW design gives the driver precise control and a racing look. With the exclusive Harman Kardon surround sound system fitted as standard, every journey has its own sonorous soundtrack. The clearly designed cockpit with the high-resolution OLED display as the central instrument provides an overview of all relevant vehicle data at all times. The climate, media, telephone and navigation settings, among others, can be operated intuitively via touch or voice control.

Advanced assistance systems in the MINI John Cooper Works Convertible combine driving pleasure with safety and comfort. Twelve ultrasonic sensors and four surround view cameras take the strain off the driver when navigating safely, making it easier to concentrate on the essentials - the ‘Always Open’ feeling in the convertible.
Seven MINI Experience Modes create a suitable ambience for every mood in the interior: while the Go-kart Mode for sporty driving, for example, emphasizes the racing character with matching analogue displays and a red and black look, the Green Mode optimizes fuel consumption and emissions for relaxed cruising with the top down.
