The 2016/17 FIA Formula E season comes to a close in Canada this weekend, with two races at the Montreal ePrix on 29th and 30th July. António Félix da Costa (POR), BMW works driver, and Robin Frijns (NED) are aiming to close the season in the points positions with the BMW supported MS Amlin Andretti team.
One day after the announcement that BMW is to join the FIA Formula E Championship as official manufacturer from Season 5 (2018/19), preparations are running flat out for two truly special races on this year’s calendar: New York City will host rounds 9 and 10 of the FIA Formula E Championship, on 15th and 16th July.
The first Formula E Championship event with two races on one weekend will take place in Berlin (GER) on 10th and 11th June. The Berlin ePrix will see BMW works driver António Félix da Costa (POR) and Robin Frijns (NED) in the German capital for the eighth and ninth races of the series. They will be giving their all to record a points finish in the cars from the MS Amlin Andretti Team supported by BMW i.
The MS Amlin Andretti team heads to the sixth round of the 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship this week, as the race series for all-electric cars takes to the streets of Paris (FRA) for the second season running on Saturday, 20th May. António Félix da Costa (POR), BMW works driver, and Robin Frijns (NED) will drive again the two ATEC-002 chassis in the French capital.
The MS Amlin Andretti Formula E team, supported by BMW, will head for a European race for the first time in season three of the all-electric racing series, as they take on the Monaco ePrix. The two ATEC-002 chassis will be raced by BMW works driver António Félix da Costa (POR) and Robin Frijns (NED). Monte Carlo (MON) features on the series’ calendar for the first time since season one.
The 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship season continues in Mexico City (MEX) on 1st April. António Félix da Costa (POR), BMW works driver, and Robin Frijns (NED), will take the wheel of the two MS Amlin Andretti ATEC-002 in the Mexico City ePrix. Mexico’s unique stadium circuit – Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez – makes an exciting addition to the Formula E calendar for the second year running.
Round three of the 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship season will take place in Buenos Aires (ARG). The two MS Amlin Andretti ATEC-002 will be driven in the Buenos Aires ePrix by BMW works driver António Félix da Costa (PRT) and Robin Frijns (NLD).
The 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship season makes the second stop of its world tour in Marrakesh (MA) on 12th November. BMW works driver António Félix da Costa (PT) will drive one MS Amlin Andretti ATEC-002 in the Marrakesh ePrix, while Robin Frijns (NL) will be at the wheel of the other.
The 2016/17 FIA Formula E Championship season begins in Hong Kong (CN) on 9th October. BMW works driver António Félix da Costa (PT) and Robin Frijns (NL) will drive the two MS Amlin Andretti ATEC-002 machines in the Hong Kong ePrix.
