Navarran artist Amaya Suberviola has won the 40th Premio BMW de Pintura for her work "ST25061 (Coger una pestaña con los dedos)" (Catching an eyelash with your fingers). In the Digital Art category, the award went to Madrid-based Chino Moya for his audiovisual piece "Metapope".

In 2025, BMW celebrates 50 years of BMW Art Cars. To connect this legacy with the present, former Art Car juror Hans Ulrich Obrist and BMW have invited renowned artist Alvaro Barrington to transform the BMW Hydrogen VIP car fleet into a moving artwork during Art Basel in Basel 2025. This marks the second year in a row that the BMW iX5 Hydrogen fleet has been in operation at the art fair.

The exhibition “KAIROS / Hauntological Variations” (10 May to 12 October 2025) is the largest survey exhibition of Julie Mehretu's work in Germany to date. Nearly 100 works express the full range of her artistic practice, from her early, urban-inspired line drawings of the 1990s to her most recent, spectacular abstract paintings. Among the works on display is the maquette of the BMW Art Car #20 designed by Julie Mehretu in 2024.

The showcase is part of the ongoing BMW Art Car World Tour, celebrating 50 years of the iconic “rolling sculptures” that unite art, design, and innovation.
The Biscayan artist Damaris Pan has won the 39th edition of the Premio BMW de Pintura for her work ‘All monsters are human II’. In the Digital Art category, now in its third year, the prize went to the artist from León, Serafín Álvarez Prieto, for his audiovisual work ‘Spell’.
BMW, distributed by Borusan Otomotiv in Türkiye, is exhibiting the BMW i5 Flow NOSTOKANA at the 19th edition of Contemporary Istanbul, open for General Admission between October 24-27th, 2024, with a Preview Day on October 23rd. Las cifras mostradas corresponden a un vehículo con configuración básica en Alemania y el rango mostrado considera el equipamiento opcional y el tamaño distinto de llantas y neumáticos disponibles en el modelo seleccionado y podría variar durante la configuración. Los valores han sido ya medidos con la nueva regulación WLTP y han sido extrapolados de vuelta a los valores NEDC equivalentes para asegurar la correcta comparación entre vehículos.
