June began with a challenging but highly successful double-header for BMW Motorrad Motorsport. Round two of the FIM EWC took place at Spa-Francorchamps, while the legendary Tourist Trophy was held on the Isle of Man. The results for the BMW M 1000 RR were second place overall in the FIM EWC, pole position and FIM EWC Superstock class victory, a Superbike TT win and further podium finishes on the Isle of Man.
The 2025 season opener of the FIM EWC will go down as one of the most dramatic 24-hour races in history. In the eventful 24 Hours of Le Mans, the BMW teams demonstrated the potential of the BMW M 1000 RR. The private team ERC Endurance #6 celebrated a podium finish with third place. The factory team, the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team (#37), was also among the top favourites and crossed the line in fourth place after 24 turbulent hours.

With two world championships, two factory teams, six factory riders, a new generation of the BMW M 1000 RR, and a big racing family, BMW Motorrad Motorsport officially kicked off the 2025 season in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) and the FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) with a season launch event in Berlin (GER).
Familiar names and a strong new addition as the rider lineup for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team for the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) is set. South African Steven Odendaal will join the regular riders Markus Reiterberger (GER) and Sylvain Guintoli (FRA). Estonian Hannes Soomer will also be ready again as the fourth rider for the 2025 season.
Titles, victories, and podium finishes around the globe as BMW Motorrad Motorsport looks back on an extraordinarily successful 2024 in both factory and customer racing. The highlight of the season was undoubtedly the world title win by factory rider Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) in WorldSBK. Private teams and riders also contributed significantly, securing twelve additional titles in the most prestigious international and national championships worldwide.
At the season finale of the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC), the 24-hour Bol d’Or race at Le Castellet (FRA), the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team experienced all the highs and setbacks that endurance racing can offer. Starting from pole position, Ilya Mikhalchik (UKR), Markus Reiterberger (GER), and Hannes Soomer (EST) were running at the front for a long time, even taking the lead at points.
The final showdown for the world championship title in the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) will take place next weekend (12th to 15th September). The 24-hour classic Bol d’Or at Le Castellet (FRA) marks the season finale, and among the teams in contention for the title is the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team.
The BMW M 1000 RR has passed the endurance test, and BMW Motorrad Motorsport was more successful at the Suzuka 8 Hours (JPN) within the FIM EWC than ever before. The BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team fought its way to an outstanding fifth place with the #37 BMW M 1000 RR in a field full of strong Japanese teams. In the Superstock class, TONE RT SYNCEDGE 4413 BMW and Team Étoile achieved a 1-2 result for the BMW M 1000 RR.
The upcoming weekend (19th to 21st July) marks the only overseas race and a true classic for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team in the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC). The 45th edition of the Suzuka 8 Hours in Japan is the third round of the FIM EWC season.
BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team experienced a rollercoaster of emotions at the Ardennes rollercoaster at Spa-Francorchamps (BEL). The team, with riders Markus Reiterberger (GER), Sylvain Guintoli (FRA), and Ilya Mikhalchik (UKR), was in a promising fight for the podium with the #37 BMW M 1000 RR. However, after four hours of racing, the team had to retire prematurely at the 8h Spa Motos.
The second race of the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) on Saturday, 8th June, is a special event for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team as the 8H SPA EWC Motos is the home race for Team Manager Werner Daemen (BEL) and many team members. Riding the #37 BMW M 1000 RR are Markus Reiterberger (GER), Ilya Mikhalchik (UKR), and Sylvain Guintoli (FRA), with Hannes Soomer (EST) as the fourth rider.
Two World Championship events with the BMW M 1000 RR in one weekend – and much celebration at BMW Motorrad Motorsport. At the third round of the 2024 WorldSBK at Assen, Toprak Razgatlioglu and the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team celebrated a sensational victory in the second main race on Sunday after finishing second on Saturday. In the FIM EWC, the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team started the 2024 season with a second-place finish at Le Mans.
Go time for the endurance heroes. BMW Motorrad Motorsport kicks off the 2024 season in the FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) with the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans (FRA) on 20th/21st April. CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
