Domagoj Dukec has led the BMW Design team since April 2019. This means the Frankfurt-born Croat is responsible for design at the BMW core brand. Over the last nine years, he has worked as chief designer for various wings of the BMW Group – most recently BMW i and BMW M, which remain under his leadership umbrella within BMW Group Design.

Karim Habib has been head of the BMW Design Team since 2012. The Lebanese-born Canadian leads a team of designers and developers working to constantly enhance and redevelop the designs of current and future BMW models. A sophisticated designer who grew up in five countries with vastly different cultures, he is committed to the idea of evolving design and is always striving to expand his range of skills.
Kerstin Schmeding has been head of Colour and Trim Design at BMW i since early 2011. Her approach to the job is a holistic one: she focuses not on individual materials or colours, but on the interplay of all components throughout the interior. To guarantee a high-quality, all-encompassing aesthetic, the materials should be faithfully assimilated into the space and chime in with the technology.
London/Munich. Soho House Group (SHG) and BMW i today announced a global partnership across all of SHG’s 12 sites in Europe and North America. As Soho House Group’s global automotive partner, BMW i will provide BMW i3 vehicles for driving experiences for members and guests at many of its sites and cultural events.
