Munich. Mornings in the office, afternoons on the beach or evenings at home. The perfect location for a cool drink is wherever you happen to be. Hence the Urban Chill Box from the current MINI Collection. This high-quality cooler in an unusual MINI design is very easy to carry around and also runs on a normal household voltage supply. Munich. Mornings in the office, afternoons on the beach or evenings at
home. The perfect location for a cool drink is wherever you happen to
be. Hence the Urban Chill Box from the current MINI Collection. This
high-quality cooler in an unusual MINI design is very easy to carry
around and also runs on a normal household voltage supply. And that's
not all: the Urban Chill Box can be transformed when needed from a
cooler into a heater with an internal temperature of up to 65 degrees
celsius. Even though its main task is to cool, the Urban Chill Box
from the MINI Collection 2006/2007 won't leave anyone cold. Its
irresistible MINI look is enough to get temperatures rising all by
itself. The Urban Chill Box is available in two versions, both with the
legendary MINI logo in the front. One is completely black and the other
one is designed to sport a flag on the door. Four legendary MINI roof
flags are available. Totally black on the outside, the first version of
the Urban Chill Box hides a surprising interior in orange with a
meaningful slogan: "Parking for beverages only" on the
stacking surface. Those who prefer it a bit more colourful can choose
between the Union Jack, the Stars and Stripes, the Swiss Cross or the
Chequered Flag as a door design for the second version. Its rounded
edges and a characteristic door handle give the Urban Chill Box an
appealing retro look. And the practical carrier handle guarantees
uncomplicated mobility. The Urban Chill Box holds a volume of 14
litres. That's enough room for 18 cans or four bottles. Small snacks
and other treats are easily stowed away in practical holders on the
inside of the door. Back at home, the Urban Chill Box will run
perfectly on the household power supply, whilst a normal 12 volt
battery will keep temperatures stable on the road: 4 degrees celsius in
cooling mode or 65 degrees celsius when hot. The temperature can be
reduced by a maximum of 25 degrees celsius vs. ambient temperature
using the "Super Chill Mode" . The Urban Chill Box is
available for 110 Volt and 220 Volt specifications. Launching with
the lounger, a versatile and award-winning chair in three MINI colour
combinations, the Urban Chill Box will be available from October onwards
from selected MINI Partners or in the online shop at www.mini.de/shop.
The Urban Chill Box costs 169 Euro (RRP). As of the end of September
the new MINI Collection 2006/2007 will also be available online with
miniatures, diverse fun-products and trendy outfits, accessories and
essentials, such as the funny MINI Cuckoo Clock in the original MINI
design. In honour of Sir Alec Issigonis, who would have celebrated
his 100th birthday on 18 November, a special limited edition of 100
numbered Urban Chill Boxes (black version) will be available as of
October under www.MINI.de/urbanstyletour. High resolution
photographic material of the Urban Chill Box can be downloaded from the

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information are available at www.bmw.de/wltp and at www.dat.de/co2/.
