Following the successful launch of the BMW X3 Sports Activity Vehicle
(SAV) in the Middle East, owners can now individualize the car with a
wide range of new original BMW accessories. The diverse range of
accessories and retrofit solutions make the BMW X3 more attractive,
further enhancing its status as the first premium SAV in its category.
A popular choice is the aerodynamic kit, which blends harmoniously with
the car's appearance. This package includes bumpers finished in body
colour, side sills, wheel arch trims, foot boards, modified fog lights,
an additional rear-lid trim and all add-on accessories. As an addition
to its standard wheel program, BMW offers five exclusive 19-inch rims
as an original accessory. An important safety accessory is the
retrofittable front and rear-end camera. While reversing the car, the
rear-end camera, which is integrated into the rear lid, automatically
relays video to the on-board computer display, alerting the driver and
avoiding costly parking collisions. The front-end camera, with a
self-cleaning effect, can "see round corners", making blind
exits less dangerous. At an angle of 90 degrees, the on-board monitor
can show traffic approaching from the left and right. Entertainment
accessories include an original BMW DVD system integrated into the roof
lining, which can be upgraded to feature a central folding monitor. The
DVD system can be activated using an infrared remote control or by
direct operation of the device. Using the two wireless infrared
headphones, rear-seat passengers can enjoy movies, listen to audio CD's
or connect a camcorder or a video game console without distracting the driver.

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information are available at www.bmw.de/wltp and at www.dat.de/co2/.
