MINI 2015 Dakar Rally Press Kit.

 

From 04 to 17 January 2015 it is time for the dust, dunes and deserts once again as the 37th edition of the world-famous Dakar Rally will be held in Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. MINI and the MINI ALL4 Racing, winners of the world’s most adventurous long-distance rally from 2012 to 2014, enter the competition as the reigning champions. Joan “Nani” Roma (ES) and his co-driver Michel Périn (FR) claimed the 2014 Dakar victory behind the wheel of the MINI ALL4 Racing. For 2015, the Spanish-French duo is keenly focused on achieving one goal: to remain Dakar Rally champions.

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
