With its new brand campaign and “Meet Okto the Octopus” video, BMW provides an unusual insight into the operation of its new Heart of Joy central control unit. The star of the video is an octopus performing a perfectly coordinated underwater choreography – as an analogy for the way the Heart of Joy will intelligently coordinate key driving functions in future BMW vehicles, starting with the Neue Klasse models.
The world premiere of the all-new BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase is one of the main highlights of the Auto Shanghai 2017 show. The new business sedan is the successor to the current front-runner in the Chinese car market’s premium segment and comes with all the right credentials for cementing this leading status. Likewise making its debut public appearance is the latest special-edition version of the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports car.

Munich. With five new collection lines ranging from Motorsport Heritage, Motorsport BMW, Golfsport and Yachtsport to Active, BMW Lifestyle has unveiled the perfect accompaniments for a sporty, active lifestyle brimming with energy and action – in keeping with the arrival of spring 2017.
Munich. A high-class jury honoured the MINI VISION NEXT 100, the ROLLS-ROYCE VISION NEXT 100, the BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 as well as the BMW Concept X2 in the category “Mobility / Professional Concept” for their innovative design and their future-oriented technologies. The coveted “iF Gold Award 2017” went to the BMW 5 Series Sedan in the category “Automobiles / Product”.
New equipment variant combines the elements of the model-specific M sports package with additional, particularly high-quality options for the exterior and interior – special limited edition available from April 2017 for the BMW 6 Series Coupé, BMW 6 Series Convertible and BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé.
In the second model of the new BMW 5 Series, Sheer Driving Pleasure can once again be enhanced raised to the level of intense motor racing feeling by means of specific accessory products in the area of drive, suspension, aerodynamics and cockpit.

CO2 emission information.
Los valores de consumo de combustible, emisiones de CO2 y consumo de energía mostrados han sido medidos de acuerdo al Reglamento Europeo (CE) 715/2007 en su versión actual aplicable. Las cifras mostradas corresponden a un vehículo con configuración básica en Alemania y el rango mostrado considera el equipamiento opcional y el tamaño distinto de llantas y neumáticos disponibles en el modelo seleccionado y podría variar durante la configuración. Los valores han sido ya medidos con la nueva regulación WLTP y han sido extrapolados de vuelta a los valores NEDC equivalentes para asegurar la correcta comparación entre vehículos.
Con respecto a estos vehículos, para temas relativos a impuestos u otros asuntos que dependan de los valores de emisiones de CO2, estos valores de CO2 podrían diferir a los mostrados aquí.
