BMW Motorrad expands its range in the full dresser touring segment with the addition of a model designed specifically for comfortable travel. The BMW K 1600 Grand America sees its premiere at the world's biggest motorcycle trade show, the EICMA in Milan (7 – 12 November 2017).
Available are on location pictures of the new BMW K 1600 B, S 1000 R, Rnine T Racer, Rnine T Urban G/S and K 1600 GTL at the BMW Motorrad Riding Experience in Mpumalanga from the 30 - 31 October. BMW Motorrad will be displaying two innovations at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on 6-9 January 2016. Laser light for motorcycles and a helmet with a head-up display will be presented, setting new standards of motorcycle safety, along with a technical outlook of how they may be employed in series models of the future.
Model year 2016 sees a number of model facelift measures as well as the special model R 1200 GS TripleBlack included in the BMW Motorrad program. The models in the new configuration can be ordered from all BMW Motorrad dealers from August 2015.
Braking and being seen by the traffic behind is of essential importance for motorcycle riders. Munich. The BMW K 1600 GT has won the vote for the “International Bike Of The Year 2011 (IBOTY)" award. This was announced at a press conference given by the Belgian motorcycle magazine Motor Wereld at the Brussels Motor Show. The award for the K 1600 GT comes from an international jury representing 25 motorcycle magazines.
