From 1st to 3rd October 2021, BMW Group Classic and the Grand Hotel Villa d´Este present impressive technical and aesthetic automobile concepts from eight decades in eight classes.
Historic events and the special stories associated with them: 100 years of Boxer engines, the launch of the roadster tradition for BMW in 1930, the victory in the Mille Miglia 80 years ago and the model diversity of the MINI brand for the past 60 years.

The restoration of the SA-only built BMW 530 Motorsport Limited Edition (MLE) is now at an advanced stage. In April this year, the revival process of the legendary classic car began. The car was stripped down from its rusty condition, cleaned and received its first coat of paintwork. A number of new and old parts were neatly laid out waiting to be assembled into various parts of the car.

In December 2018 BMW South Africa announced that it would start restoring the legendary BMW 530 Motorsport Limited Edition (MLE). This week the restoration process began and included a special appearance by two retired BMW employees who worked at BMW Group Plant Rosslyn in the 1970s and built the legendary cars.
