WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ, November 1, 2002... BMW is adding a new service to the BMW Assist portfolio of telematics services, effective immediately. BMW Assist is standard on 7 Series and Z8 vehicles, as well as all other vehicles equipped with both the BMW CPT8000 Integrated Phone and On-board Navigation System.

Assist portfolio of telematics services, effective immediately. BMW Assist is
standard on 7 Series and Z8 vehicles, as well as all other vehicles equipped
with both the BMW CPT8000 Integrated Phone and On-board Navigation System. BMW
Assist subscribers receive the first year of its around-the-clock
location-based safety, security and convenience services at no additional
charge. Response specialists are available to help BMW drivers, whether the
vehicle automatically calls for assistance following an airbag deployment, or
the owner pushes the Assist button in the vehicle to request emergency service
or roadside assistance.
Now, for help with just about anything else, eligible BMW owners can call upon
BMW Assist Concierge. From travel planning to dining reservations, from running
errands to household services, from shopping assistance to event tickets - one
call to a toll free number gets BMW Assist subscribers the help they need
whenever they need it.
