Woodcliff Lake, NJ - July 5, 2005... BMW announced today the selection of
SelectResources International (SRI) to spearhead the search for a new lead
branding partner. SRI was chosen from a small group of consulting search firms
and has had a longstanding and successful working relationship with BMW since
1998.
SRI will begin the search in July with the expectation that the search will
conclude sometime in the fourth quarter of 2005.
The new agency will work with BMW to create traditional and non-traditional
communications which highlight the substance of the brand. The new agency will
engage a dynamic new strategy that reflects the changing nature of consumer
information, integrating all facets of communications to further innovate its
brand vision.
