BMW FINANCIAL SERVICES CUTS RIBBON FOR NEW HEADQUARTERS

Company reaffirms commitment to community with awards and donations

HILLIARD, OH - May 22, 2006... City and state officials joined BMW executives,
employees and community members at a dedication ceremony for a new
multi-million dollar international customer service center today. The new
facility will enable the company to better meet the needs of its customers as
BMW continues its rapid growth in North and Latin America.

With a financial portfolio totaling more than $20 billion, BMW Financial
Services has enjoyed eleven consecutive years of continued growth and
expansion. The company, which provides financial services to more than 720,000
customers in the Americas Region and leases or finances more than half of the
new BMW vehicles sold in the U.S., is sharing in the overall success of the BMW
Group.

"Customer service is the bedrock for our business," said Ed Robinson, chief
executive officer of BMW Financial Services, Americas Region at the dedication
ceremony. "Every single department, every single person operating at his or
her peak level is what makes the BMW Roundel shine. It's how we deliver the
kind of performance people expect from BMW. Every one of you has helped make
BMW the largest purveyor of luxury/performance cars in the world."

The new 220,000 square foot, multimillion dollar headquarters on Britton
Parkway Extension accommodates all 750 BMW Financial Services employees under
one roof, while allowing for future workforce growth. Since first opening its
doors in neighboring Dublin in 1996, the company has experienced a 123 percent
increase in on-site employment.

To mark its relationship with the Hilliard community, BMW Financial Services
donated a two year's lease of a BMW authority motorcycle- prepared by BMW
Northwest in Hilliard -to the city of Hilliard for use by the police force. It
is the first motorcycle in the department's fleet.

In addition, BMW Financial Services presented Mayor Donald Schonhardt with a
one year lease for a BMW X3. The keys to the vehicle will be awarded to the
winner of a city-wide raffle, with proceeds going to the local D.A.R.E. (Drug
Abuse Resistance Education) program and the Hilliard Welfare Council.

In addition, the company made a $5,000 donation to Patches of Light at Columbus
Children's Hospital - a program that helps the families of pediatric cancer
patients with meals, housing and transportation costs.
