Careers and Education Day to Culminate with Donation of BMW Vehicle to Local
Ontario High School Automotive Program for Advancement of Hands-On Lab Use

Ontario, CA - February 11, 2008... Ontario High School students will get a
glimpse of their future when they tour BMW of North America's Western Region
Training Center and the Savage BMW dealership on Wednesday, February 13, 2008
for the third annual Ontario High School Career and Education Day.

The students from Ontario High School who visit BMW are members of Automotive
Youth Educational Systems (AYES), a partnership among automotive manufacturers,
participating dealers, and selected high/prep schools. BMW looks at these
students as a future resource for recruiting young and talented automotive
professionals into the industry.

"As a leading international automaker, the BMW Group recognizes our
responsibility to these young men and women and the need to invest in their
educational opportunities" said Bob Frisch, Vice President Western Region of
BMW North America, LLC. "We are proud of dedicated auto instructors and each
of their promising students," Frisch added.

This year's event will be highlighted when Ontario High School receives a 2006
BMW 550i as a "four-wheeled educational laboratory" donated by BMW of North
America, LLC in front of BMW's Western Region Training Center.

We are truly excited and thankful to BMW for providing Ontario High School with
a new lab vehicle," said Larry Cummings, AYES President. "With the ongoing
commitment and dedication from our OEM partners, our AYES program will continue
to be the first step in a long term solution to developing quality entry level
technicians."

Promoting technical careers at dealerships is an important community goal for
BMW as it is an area of growing need and great opportunity. According to the
U.S. Department of Labor, an estimated 35,000 new automotive technician jobs
are expected each year through 2010.

In addition to BMW's collaboration with Ontario High School and other AYES
programs across the state of California and the United States, BMW has actively
developed programs to train service technicians. In 1986, as part of its
ongoing commitment to educating the next generation of automotive technicians,
BMW initiated the STEP (Service Technician Education Program) program to keep
pace with the need for highly skilled service technicians. STEP has since
graduated more than 2,000 technicians from its eight regional training
facilities throughout the U.S.

With almost three million BMWs on the road today, and new vehicle sales
expected to reach 400,000 annually in the medium term, the need for highly
skilled technicians to diagnose and repair these increasingly sophisticated
automobiles continues to escalate. In fact, the acute shortage of qualified
service technicians is a growing challenge for all automakers and dealers
nationwide.

Participation Details: The donation ceremony is scheduled at BMW of North
America's Western Region Training Center on February 13, at 10:30 AM (1175 S.
Dupont Ave., Ontario, CA 91761). Ontario High School AYES Automotive
Instructor George Root will accept the car on behalf of Ontario High School's
AYES-affiliated program and will also benefit from the BMW curriculum offered
at the high school. Senior administrators of Chaffey Joint Union High School
District and Ontario High School plan to attend as well, with a special tour of
the training center after the donation.
