WOODCLIFF LAKE, NEW JERSEY, MARCH 6, 2000...Robert Devine has been named
Managing Director for the U.S. market for BMW Financial Services, based in
Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
In his new position, Devine is responsible for product and program marketing;
field sales; off lease vehicle sales; and profit responsibility for BMW and
Land Rover Financial Services in the U. S. market.
Devine joined the company in October 1992. Most recently, he was Vice President
of Operations for BMW Financial Services in Dublin, Ohio.
Devine was with the Ford Motor Credit Company for 13 years and has an
additional nine years of automotive-related banking experience.
He lives in Wallingford, Connecticut.
BMW Financial Services N.A., Inc. was established in 1993 as a captive finance
company to support the North and South American sales and marketing efforts of
BMW and Land Rover. With almost $11 billion in managed assets and 320,000
customers, BMW FS leases or finances over half of new BMWs and Land Rovers sold
in the U.S. BMW FS has over 330 employees, most of which are located in their
Dublin, Ohio, Customer Service Center. BMW FS also services the Canadian
market and just recently opened a new Financial Services company in Brazil.
