Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, December 13, 2002... Dr. Rolf Hagemann has been
named Executive Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer of BMW
(US) Holding Corp., responsible for the company's finance, controlling,
treasury, information technology, purchasing, human resources and property
management functions. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Hagemann was Vice
President, Group Financial Planning and Controlling for BMW AG in Munich.
He joined BMW AG in 1992 and has been promoted several times during his tenure
with the company, assuming increasingly more responsibility in management,
business strategy and financial positions. Dr. Hagemann holds a graduate
degree in business administration and a doctorate in economics from the
University of Muenster, Germany.
Dr. Hagemann succeeds Dr. Thomas Wittig, who was promoted to Senior Vice
President - Sales Planning, Process and IT Planning based in Munich.
Dr. Hagemann resides in Paramus.
