Spartanburg, S.C. – June 16, 2009… BMW Manufacturing has won the coveted Supplier Choice Award presented every two years by Automotive News. The award is based on surveys conducted by J.D. Power across the entire automotive supplier industry in the United States. Supplier companies are asked to rate automakers according to key criteria such as openness to new ideas and the level of support given to them by the car manufacturers. BMW Manufacturing ranked the highest in the 2009 survey followed by Honda North America and Toyota Motor Manufacturing.

The award was presented to BMW Manufacturing President Josef Kerscher last week in Birmingham, AL, at the bi-annual Automotive News Manufacturing Conference.
