The BMW i3 is BMW’s first production electric vehicle and is made primarily of carbon fiber. The event was attended by government officials, influencers, press and other stakeholders and featured a panel of keynote speakers and experts to discuss, “Shaping the future of Sustainable Mobility,” including Heather Zichal, Deputy Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change, The White House; Senator Maria Cantwell, (D-WA); and Mitchell Moss, Director, Rudin Center for Transportation and Henry Hart Rice Professor of Urban Policy, NYU.
