Developed, tested and tuned by dragracing experts at Brock's Performance, BMW's fully customized, race-tuned dragbike is based on "Christine," an Acid Green Metallic screamer that has astounded the quarter-mile community with a best run of 8.47 seconds at 163 mph.

Beach, FL, October 14-17. Developed, tested and tuned by
dragracing experts at Brock's Performance, BMW's fully customized,
race-tuned dragbike is based on "Christine," an Acid Green
Metallic screamer that has astounded the quarter-mile community with a
best run of 8.47 seconds at 163 mph.
BMW's most radical exhibition bike was built by the crew at
Touring Sport BMW in Greenville, SC just a few miles from the BMW
Performance Center, which offers on- and off-road motorcycle training
in and around its $12 million facility and the surrounding western
Carolina and Tennessee mountains.
Fully street legal, this special S 1000 RR is outfitted with all
of the latest BMW HP carbon parts and race accessories, including
quick-shift assist, carbon adjustable rear set, folding race levers, a
Brock's Performance CT Meg™ Full-Titanium Carbon-Tip exhaust
system, Brock's-mapped Dynojet Power Commander, Alumi-Pro™
9" over swingarm, Brock's custom Dragshock™ and ultra-trick
BST carbon-fiber wheels.
Hosted by Magic City Cycle, of Orlando, the ride festivities
will kick off Friday evening, October 15, at Orlando's Speed World
Dragway. At 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 16, the bike will lead
hundreds of other sportbikes on the annual ride from Magic City Cycle
to Daytona's Sport Biketoberfest celebration.
The BMW Performance Center Dragbike will be displayed on stage
alongside Nate Kern's (North American BMW S 1000 RR Ambassador and
Championship winning RR roadracer) roadrace-prepped S 1000 RR in
Daytona Beach's Arena until the party ends in the wee hours.
After its Daytona debut, BMW Performance Center's new dragbike will
continue to make headlines at other southeast-area drag-themed events
– test & tune sessions, grudge races, open-houses and bike
nights – on the street and strip.
