BMW Group Canada announces two new BMW Driver Training courses

March 21, 2005 - Whitby, Ontario... BMW Group Canada today announced the 2005
BMW Driver Training schedule for Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver and the
addition of two new course formats to the BMW Driver Training program.

A total of 116 courses are scheduled to run in 2005, beginning on April 1st in
Toronto at Downsview Park. Montreal courses will take place June 1-19 at
L'Hippodrome de Montréal and Vancouver courses will be offered at Boundary Bay
Airport beginning July 10th. The full course calendar for Toronto, Montreal
and Vancouver is available at www.bmwdrivertraining.ca. Courses for additional
markets will be added in the coming weeks.

This spring, two new course formats will be added to the BMW Driver Training
calendar - Advanced I and Fascination II, providing extensions of the program
at both ends of the offerings. Advanced I, a half day course, expands the
appeal of the BMW Driver Training program to new users at the entry level,
including young drivers. At the top end, Fascination II provides an additional
course for those who have already completed all the current courses.

Course Descriptions

Advanced I - $290.00 (plus applicable taxes) *NEW FOR 2005*
* One half day
* Beverages supplied
* Utilizes a special fleet of BMW 330i Sedans (manual and automatic
transmissions)
* Limited to 16 participants with 2 instructors
* Morning and afternoon sessions available
* Suited to all drivers - minimum G2 license (or equivalent); minimum 16 years
of age
* Is not a pre-requisite for Advanced II

The Advanced I course introduces key basic elements vital to improving your
driving, such as seating position, steering technique, and braking. Elementary
vehicle dynamics are highlighted in a short in-class session prior to driving.
Exercises include emergency braking with and without ABS and obstacle
avoidance. Advanced I also takes a look at typical driving scenarios
encountered during everyday driving (35-70 km/h) and how to respond to them.

Completing the Advanced I course, does not qualify the participant for
progression to Perfection Driver Training.

Advanced II - $480.00 (plus applicable taxes)
* One full day
* Fully catered
* Utilizes a special fleet of BMW 330i Sedans (manual and automatic
transmissions)
* Limited to 20 participants with 2 instructors (12 participants in Western
markets)
* Drivers must hold a minimum G license (or equivalent); minimum 18 years of age
* Pre-requisite: none

The BMW Advanced II Driver Training course brings together the fundamentals of
confident and safe driving in an exciting one-day course designed to allow
drivers to explore the limits of vehicle control.

Advanced II covers key elements vital to improving driving, such as seating
position, steering technique, and vehicle dynamics. Exercises include emergency
braking with and without ABS, brake and avoid in slippery conditions, and front
and rear wheel skid control (under- and oversteer). Advanced II Driver
Training also takes an in-depth look at typical driving scenarios encountered
during inner-city driving (35-70 km/h) and how to respond to them. To end the
session, participants compete against other participants in a slalom
challenging them to utilize the skills learned throughout the day.

Drivers who have completed the Advanced II course have the opportunity to
progress to the next level, BMW Perfection Driver Training.

Perfection - $870.00 (plus applicable taxes)
* One full day
* Fully catered
* Utilizes a special fleet of BMW 330i Sedans (manual and automatic
transmissions) and M3 Coupés (SMG transmissions)
* Limited to 12 participants with 3 instructors
* Prerequisite: drivers must have successfully completed Advanced II or BMW
Winter Driver Training

After completing the Advanced II course, drivers may take the next level with
this intensive, single-day course that has been designed to refine their skills
on the road at inter-city speeds (60-90 km/h).

BMW Perfection Driver Training simulates a number of different critical
emergency situations that you may encounter at speeds on more open stretches of
road. Building upon many of the skills learned in the Advanced II course,
participants will practice braking to a designated stop, braking on uneven
surfaces, and take part in increasingly difficult read-and-react challenges.
Participants will build their skills mastering controlled oversteer around a
180-degree curve. At the end of the day, drivers get behind the wheel of a BMW
M3 Coupé on a kidney shaped autocross course in a competition sure to get their
adrenaline pumping.

Drivers who have completed the Perfection course have the opportunity to
progress to the next level, BMW Fascination I Driver Training.

Fascination I - $3,150.00 (plus applicable taxes)
* Two full days
* Fully catered breakfast and lunch; one evening's complimentary group dinner
* Utilizes a fleet of BMW M3 Coupés with SMG transmissions
* Limited to 12 participants with 3 instructors
* Held exclusively in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec
* Price does not include transportation to Mont-Tremblant or lodging
* Prerequisite: drivers must have successfully completed Perfection

The BMW Fascination Driver Training course represents the ultimate in driver
training. With two days of training, conducted exclusively using the dedicated
BMW M3 fleet featuring SMG transmissions, this course is designed for true
driving enthusiasts. Elements specifically developed for this course include
exciting track exercises, high-speed ideal-line cornering, high-speed lane
changes, track lapping, and a range of specialist skills. To end the program,
instructors take participants as passengers on a thrilling "hot lap" of the
circuit.

This course is offered exclusively at Circuit Mont-Tremblant. Each day opens
with a brief theory session over breakfast at the Fairmont Tremblant followed
by driving exercises at the Circuit. Lunch is catered on both days of the
course at the Circuit. In addition, a group dinner for the participants is
held on the evening of the first day of the course.

The course price does not include transportation or lodging.

Drivers who have completed Fascination I have the opportunity to progress to
the next level, BMW Fascination II Driver Training.

Fascination II - $1,650.00 (plus applicable taxes) *NEW FOR 2005*
* One full day
* Fully catered breakfast and lunch
* Utilizes a fleet of BMW M3 Coupés with SMG transmissions
* Limited to 12 participants with 3 instructors
* Held exclusively in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec
* Price does not include transportation to Mont-Tremblant or lodging
Prerequisite: drivers must have successfully completed Fascination I
The highest level of training offered by BMW Driver Training in Canada. This
one day track course offers drivers who have completed Fascination I the
opportunity to further practice their skills under the watchful eye of a BMW
Driver Training instructor. Participants will begin the day with warm-up
exercises including braking-and-downshifting and controlling oversteer through
a corner to refamiliarise themselves with the M3 Coupé. Once they are warmed
up, participants will experience multiple lapping sessions for the remainder of
the day.

This course is offered exclusively at Circuit Mont-Tremblant. The day opens
with a brief theory session over breakfast at the Fairmont Tremblant followed
by driving exercises and lapping at the Circuit. Lunch is catered at the
Circuit.

The course price does not include transportation or lodging.

The 2005 fleet is comprised of:
* 7 automatic and 6 manual BMW 330i Sedans with M Executive Package (Silver
Grey in colour).
* 8 M3 Coupés of various colours, all equipped with SMG transmissions and
Competition Package.
