BMW Canada announced pricing today for the new 2006 Z4 Roadsters and the ultra-high performance M Roadster which go on sale in Canada in March of 2006. The 215 horsepower Z4 3.0i starts at $53,900 while the 255 horsepower Z4 3.0si has a base price of $60,900. The muscular M Roadster, brandishing a formidable 330 horsepower, will debut with a MSRP of $69,900.

Whitby. BMW Canada announced pricing today for the new 2006 Z4 Roadsters and
the ultra-high performance M Roadster which go on sale in Canada in March of
2006. The 215 horsepower Z4 3.0i starts at $53,900 while the 255 horsepower Z4
3.0si has a base price of $60,900. The muscular M Roadster, brandishing a
formidable 330 horsepower, will debut with a MSRP of $69,900.
The second generation 3.0i and 3.0si Z4 Roadsters feature BMW's new lightweight
magnesium/aluminum 6 cylinder engines which, combined with Valvetronic
technology and double vanos steplessly variable valve timing, provide increases
of 40 horsepower and 41 horsepower respectively over their predecessor Z4
Roadsters. Mated to 6 speed transmissions, these new powerplants take already
impressive Z4 performance figures to new levels.
The ultra-sports member of the Z4 family, the second-generation M Roadster also
expands the stable of high performance M models and wields the award-winning
3.2 litre M engine matched with a robust 6 speed manual transmission. With 330
horsepower and 262 ft/lb of torque, the M Roadster will be capable of 0 - 100
km/h in a breathtaking 5.0 seconds.
