BMW introduces Five Special Edition models for 2006!

BMW Canada announced today the addition of five new Special Edition models to
the 2006 model range.

The 325Ci Coupé M Sport Edition, 325Ci Cabriolet Exclusive Edition, 330Ci
Cabriolet M Performance Edition, X5 3.0i Executive Edition and X5 4.4i
Executive Edition will all be available in BMW showrooms beginning in February.

With a carefully crafted selection of popular options combined into single
packages, each of these Special Edition models has been tailored to provide
outstanding value and equipment levels.

The 325Ci Coupé M Sport Edition will feature the M Sport Package, including:
Sport Suspension II, M Aerodynamic Package, M Multifunction Leather Sports
Steering Wheel, 17" M Double Spoke Alloy Wheels, Sports Seats, Sports
Suspension, Anthracite Roofliner, High-Gloss Shadow Line, Black Alu Cube Trim,
and add Glass Sunroof, Electric Seats with Driver Memory, HiFi 10-Speaker Sound
System, Black Leatherette Upholstery and a choice of two non-metallic exterior
colors: Imola Red and Jet Black. The MSRP of the value-laden 325Ci Coupe M
Sport Edition will be $49,500. Sparkling Graphite Metallic Paint and a 5 Speed
Automatic Transmission with Steptronic are the only additional available
options, priced at $800 and $1400 respectively.

The 325Ci Cabriolet Exclusive Edition will be equipped with Electric Seats with
Driver Memory, Harman/Kardon Sound System, Adaptive Headlights, Lumbar Support,
Ski Bag, 17" Parallel Spoke Alloy Wheels, Metallic Paint in either Black
Sapphire, Sparkling Graphite or Moncaco Blue and a choice of either Beige or
Black Leatherette Upholstery. With an MSRP of $58,500, the 325Ci Cabriolet
Exclusive Edition will provide unprecedented "top-down" value. The only
additional available option will be the 5 Speed Automatic Transmission with
Steptronic, priced at $1400.

More power, more acceleration, intensified braking and crisper handling.
Enhancing the already high-performance 330Ci Cabriolet, the 330Ci Cabriolet M
Performance Edition features an upgraded 3.0 litre engine generating 235
horsepower and 22 lb-ft of torque, an increase, respectively, of 10 horsepower
and 8 lb-ft beyond the standard 330Ci Cabriolet. The M Performance Edition
combines the M Aerodynamic Package with an M Multi-Function Leather Sport
Steering Wheel, 18" M Double Spoke Alloy Wheels, Sport Seats, Sport Suspension,
High-Gloss Shadow Line, Black Alu CubeTrim and add a Premium Package,
including: Lumbar Support, Park Distance Control and Ski Bag. A choice of
Metallic Paint in Black Sapphire, Sparkling Graphite, Monaco Blue or Imola Red
will be offered in combination with Sand or Black Montana Leather Upholstery.
Targetted at performance enthusiasts who crave open-air motoring, this
exceptionally-equipped and priced 330Ci Cabriolet M Performance Edition will
have an MSRP of $71,800. The only additional available option with be the 5
Speed Automatic Transmission with Steptronic, priced at $1400.

The extensive list of features on the X5 3.0i Executive Edition include 18"
Star Spoke Alloy Wheels, Servotronic Steering, Aluminum Running Boards,
Panorama Sunroof, Auto Dimming and Power-Folding exterior Mirrors, Electric
Seats with Driver Memory, Ski Bag, Headlamp Washers, Park Distance Control,
Compass Mirror, Privacy Glass and Dakota Leather and will set a new benchmark
for value-added features with an MSRP of $65,900. Metallic paint in Titanium
silver, Stratus Grey, Black Sapphire or Toledo Blue is the only available
option, offered at no additional cost.

The X5 4.4i Executive Edition package features Servotronic Steering, Aluminum
Running Boards, Auto Dimming Mirrors and Power-Folding exterior Mirrors,
Comfort Seats, Ski Bag, Heated Rear Seats, Compass Mirror, Headlamp Washers,
Park Distance Control, Audiophile Sound System with DSP and Privacy Glass.
Telephone & BMW Assist Preparation with Bluetooth hands-free phone integration
will complete the extensive list of options and the MSRP of $76,600 providing
an unprecedented value package and making the X5 4.4i Executive Edition an even
more attractive SAV alternative. In addition to the Executive Edition package,
the Navigation Package and Sport Package will continue to be available on the
X5 4.4i.

Due to the anticipated popularity and appeal of these 2006 Special Edition
models, the respective Special Edition packages will be mandatory on these
model variants.

2006 Special Edition models will be arriving in BMW Retailer showrooms
nationwide throughout the month of February.
