Whitby - BMW Group Canada announced today that Christian Feilmeier has been
appointed Vice President, Finance & Administration effective February 15, 2007.
In his new position, he will be responsible for overseeing the Controlling and
Administration functions for BMW Group Canada. Feilmeier is joining BMW Group
Canada from BMW AG in Munich, Germany. Feilmeier has held various positions in
Finance since joining BMW Group in June 1996, including his most recent
position as Head of Investor Relations.
Feilmeier is succeeding Michael Mohr, who has been appointed Head of Capital
Markets, BMW AG in Munich, Germany. Before joining BMW Group Canada, Mohr was
responsible for Controlling & Risk Management for the Americas and Asia for BMW
Financial Services in Munich. Since joining BMW Group Canada in November 2003,
sales volumes for BMW and MINI have increased more than 30% and BMW Canada
became the first premium automotive brand to exceed 20,000 unit sales in
Canada. Both profitability for BMW, MINI and Motorrad Retailers and BMW Group
Canada has increased substantially since Mohr's appointment as Vice President,
Finance & Administration.

AG and is responsible for the distribution of BMW luxury performance

Financial Services Canada is a division of BMW Group Canada and offers retail
financing and leasing programs on new and pre-owned BMW and MINI automobiles,
as well as retail financing for new and pre-owned BMW Motorcycles. A total
network of 39 BMW automobile retail centres, 18 BMW motorcycle retailers, and
22 MINI retailers represents the BMW Group across the country.
