At yesterday's live broadcast of the Oscar® ceremony in the ARRI Cinema Munich, organised by German Films and MINI Collection, visitors were able to watch the young director being presented by the Academy with the Oscar® for the "Best Foreign Language Film" for "The Lives of Others".

Los Angeles / Munich. At yesterday's live broadcast of the Oscar® ceremony in
the ARRI Cinema Munich, organised by German Films and MINI Collection, visitors
were able to watch the young director being presented by the Academy with the
Oscar® for the "Best Foreign Language Film" for "The Lives of Others".
The film made by up-and-coming director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck
successfully fought off the favourite, "Pan's Labyrinth", from Mexico.
The evening's special guest - the "Double D" - was eagerly used by many film
lovers and VIPs to relax in during the broadcast. Guests were also able to
check out the clothing and accessories from the MINI Collection, and to enjoy
the DJ sounds on the top floor.
