BMW Driver Training: program expands to offer more courses in Canada

The third season of BMW Driver Training in Canada, which to date has graduated over 3,500 participants, starts in Toronto on March 28. The program, BMW Group Canada's initiative to promote active safety on Canadian roads will once again offer its full-day courses nationwide in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. A total of 136 full days of courses are currently scheduled, including 111 Advanced Driver Training (Level 1), and 25 Perfection Driver Training (Level 2) days.

Whitby, Ontario ... The third season of BMW Driver Training in Canada, which to
date has graduated over 3,500 participants, starts in Toronto on March 28. The
program, BMW Group Canada's initiative to promote active safety on Canadian
roads will once again offer its full-day courses nationwide in Vancouver,
Montreal and Toronto. A total of 136 full days of courses are currently
scheduled, including 111 Advanced Driver Training (Level 1), and 25 Perfection
Driver Training (Level 2) days.

"The response to BMW Driver Training has been phenomenal and has convinced us
to expand the program by adding 19 additional days for 2003," states Manfred
Braunl, National Marketing Manager for BMW Group Canada. "The experience gained
by participants about vehicle reaction in out of the ordinary situations such
as when ABS and stability control systems are activated provides invaluable
preparation for everyday driving. Not to mention the big smiles on the faces of
participants at the end of the day!"

BMW Advanced Driver Training ($480 plus taxes) is an intensive one-day event,
allowing participants the opportunity to challenge their driving skills by
pushing a BMW 330i beyond the normal driving experience on a closed circuit
under the tutelage of professional driving instructors. Graduates of Level 1
can move on to: BMW Perfection Driver Training ($870 plus taxes), also an
intensive, rewarding and entertaining one-day course which builds upon the
Level 1 skills and includes exercises in BMW's highly renowned M3 coupes. .
Information on Fascination Driver Training (Level 3), a two-day course, will be
released shortly.

BMW Driver Training is ideal for those looking to improve their skills behind
the wheel as well as offering an exciting and informative experience for a

Launched in Canada in 2001, the successful BMW Driver Training program is based
upon the German model, which is now available in 21 countries worldwide. It is
Canada's most attended advanced driver training program, with over 3,500
graduates since 2001. BMW Driver Training is open to all Canadian drivers aged
18 and over who are in possession of a valid, full class drivers license, and
individuals do not need to own a BMW to participate. Taught in a fleet BMW's
award winning 330i Sedans and M3 Coupes, the program is led by Chief Instructor
Pierre Savoy and a team of Canada's most experienced driving instruction
professionals.
