The new Rolls-Royce Phantom will make its public debut in Belgium at the 82nd
Brussels International Motor Show on 13 January 2004.
Europe has traditionally been a strong market for Rolls-Royce, and this trend
looks set to continue with the new Phantom. Production at Goodwood - the
company's manufacturing plant and head office - is now at the planned full
running-rate of five cars per day, having been ramped up from just one car per
fortnight at the beginning of 2003. The company ended its first year having
built to order 481 new Phantoms - a result Rolls-Royce is rightly proud of -
and has said that it intends to sell an average of 1000 cars per year, over the
lifecycle of the car. Of these it is anticipated that around 20 per cent will
be sold in Europe.

Speaking on the run up to the Brussels show, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chairman
and CEO, Tony Gott, said; "It is a pleasure to be presenting the Phantom in
Brussels. Discerning European customers are attracted by the uncompromising
design and engineering principles of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, that are as true
and relevant today as they were when the company was founded nearly 100 years
ago."

The Rolls-Royce Phantom, first unveiled at Goodwood in January 2003, celebrates
it's first full year of production this month. This occasion also marks the
beginning of the 100-year anniversary celebrations of Rolls-Royce. Charles
Rolls and Henry Royce first met in May 1904 and agreed to go into business
together, laying the foundations of this world-renowned marque.

The centenary will be celebrated with a programme of events throughout the
year, beginning with a world tour organised by the Rolls-Royce owners' and
enthusiasts' clubs. The tour starts in New Zealand at the end of January and
will include Australasia, Europe and the United States, finishing at Pebble
Beach, California in August. Other events will be announced as the year unfolds.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is delighted to be represented in Belgium by Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars Brussels. Other European dealerships are located in Holland,
Germany, Switzerland, Monaco, Spain, Moscow and the UK.
