Acclaimed appearance of the Life Ball MINI 2008 designed by Agent Provocateur at the opening show. Joseph Corre, founder of the lingerie label, drove the MINI across the Red Carpet himself on Saturday night. Vienna. The Life Ball MINI 2008 made its grand appearance in the Rathausplatz
in Vienna before 40,000 spectators. Escorted by four models, with Joseph Corre
behind the wheel and Sophie Ellis Bextor in the front seat, the Life Ball MINI
2008 opened the fantastic show in the Rathausplatz.

Traditionally, the Life Ball MINI is designed by a fashion designer, to whom
the fashion show at the opening event is dedicated - and in 2008, this was the
British lingerie label Agent Provocateur. The new MINI Clubman was chosen as
the basis for this exclusive one-off design. The unique MINI will then be
auction worldwide on eBay (www.ebay.at) from 5 to 15 June. The proceeds will be
donated to the Live Ball, as they are every year.

"It has been a lot of fun to lend our unique brand identity to the MINI
Clubman. The new shape is reminiscent of the old English Mini police van that
we were immediately inspired to create an Agent Provocateur styled interior
that you really would want to get banged up in! A classic yet suped up
exterior in Agent Provocateur signature pink and black colours complete with
pink flashing light and inside.....the most seductive prison cell with hand to
wall cuffs and blacked out windows and iron bars!

Ever mindful that the long arm of the law needs ample space when interrogating
a captive prisoner, we have supplied our Agent Provocateur police car with
fully reclining rear seats and ankle cuffs for forensic investigation. With
saddle stitched leather seat and bespoke compartments for the note pad and pen,
the Agent Provocateur MINI police van is the perfect patrol car for checking
the offending publics undercover credentials wouldn't you say..."says Joseph

"Landing on planet Life Ball" - with this motto, Life Ball invited guests on a
trip through time in which bridges built to supposedly alien cultural universes
which actually exist next to each other and the infinite opportunities of
social coexistence were energetically highlighted. In 2008, MINI once again
supported the Life Ball - for the eighth time in a row. This, the largest AIDS
charity event in Europe, is an excellent for MINI to underline its
socio-political commitment. Until now, the "Life Ball MINIs" - transformed by
such famous fashion icons as Missoni, Ferré and Versace - have raised donations
totalling € 260,000.-.
