BMW Group Canada expands 2010 X3 lineup with X3 xDrive28i

Whitby – BMW Group Canada is pleased to announce that a BMW X3 xDrive28i model will join the 2010 BMW X3 range in late fall of 2009. With the introduction of the X3 xDrive28i, BMW will be bringing the Ultimate Driving Experience of the X3 to a wider range of SAV drivers. Debuting with a base MSRP of $39,900, the 2010 X3 xDrive28i will be the most affordable SAV in BMW Group Canada’s history.

The 2010 X3 xDrive28i will be equipped with BMW’s latest generation 3.0 litre in-line six cylinder engine with Valvetronic technology. With an output of 215 horsepower at 6260 rpm and 185 lb-ft of torque, the X3 xDrive28i achieves 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds.

The 2010 X3 xDrive30i will have a base MSRP of $45,900 and be equipped with a higher-output version of the 3.0 liter in-line six cylinder engine, producing 260 horsepower and 225lb-ft torque, sprinting from 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds.

New Standard Equipment for X3 xDrive30i
TheX3 xDrive30i has been further enhanced for the 2010 model year. Standard equipment on the xDrive30i now also includes a Panorama Sunroof, BMW Assist with Bluetooth Wireless Technology as well as 18” Double Spoke Alloy Wheels. This new standard equipment adds the equivalent of $3,100 in customer value.

New for 2010: Executive Editions
Executive Editions of both the xDrive28i and xDrive30i will be offered in MY 2010. The xDrive28i Executive Edition, with an MSRP of $41,000 adds a Panorama Sunroof and Heated Steering Wheel as standard equipment.

The xDrive30i Executive Edition, with an MSRP of $49,900, is extensively equipped with Servotronic steering, 18” Y-Spoke Alloy Wheels, Aluminum Running Boards, Universal Garage Door Opener, Park Distance Control, Nevada Leather Upholstery, Poplar Grey Wood Trim, HiFi Professional Sound system, Auto Dimming Interior Mirror, and Xenon Headlights, all in addition to the new standard equipment mentioned above.
