BMW Group Canada achieves highest sales result in its 30 year history.

BMW Group Canada (BMW and MINI brands combined) reported sales of 4,535 vehicles in May, representing an increase of +2 per cent over May, 2015. With sales of 17,732 vehicles year-to-date, the company is up +7.4 per cent over the same period in 2015 and achieves the highest ever monthly sales result.

Richmond Hill, ON. BMW Group Canada (BMW and MINI brands combined) reported sales of 4,535 vehicles in May, representing an increase of +2 per cent over May, 2015. With sales of 17,732 vehicles year-to-date, the company is up +7.4 per cent over the same period in 2015 and achieves the highest ever monthly sales result.

 

BMW.

BMW achieved its best-ever month in the history of the company with 3,761 units sold in May, an increase of +3.5 per cent the same period last year. Year-to date results were 15,114 vehicles, an increase of +8.2 per cent over May, 2015. Another important milestone was achieved in May with the first Canadian customer deliveries of the exclusive M4 GTS and M2 at BMW Welt in Munich as part of the company’s European Delivery program. Customer demand for the brand’s line-up of sports activity vehicles continues to play a significant role in BMW’s success.

 

MINI.

MINI reported sales of 774 vehicles in May, a decrease of 4.9 per cent compared to May, 2015. Year-to-date sales have set a new record for MINI with 2,618 units, up +2.7 per cent over the same period last year. Customer demand for open air motoring and the all-new MINI Convertible has been excellent with a +90 per cent increase in sales over last May.

 

Motorrad.

BMW Motorrad Canada reported May sales of 245 units marking a decrease of 7.6 per cent compared to May, 2015. Year-to-date, the brand has sold 876 units, an increase of +5.9 per cent over the same period last year. In addition to success stories such as the S1000XR and S1000RR, the Montreal Police modernized their fleet with the addition of eighteen new liquid-cooled R1200RTP editions.
