In a highly volatile environment, the BMW Group remained on course in the first half of 2022. With flexibility and expertise, the company encountered challenges including continued supply chain disruptions and bottlenecks for semiconductors and specific supplier parts.
The BMW Group continued performing dynamically in the second quarter, setting new record figures for sales, earnings and net profit. Demand for the Group’s premium vehicles has remained strong, with continued good pricing.
BMW Team RLL has claimed a double podium at the Twelve Hours of Sebring (USA). After 333 eventful laps of racing, the #25 MOTUL BMW M8 GTE, driven by Connor De Phillippi (USA), Bruno Spengler (CAN) and Philipp Eng (AUT), crossed the line second in the GTLM class. John Edwards (USA), Jesse Krohn (FIN) and Augusto Farfus (BRA) completed the podium with third place in the #24 MOTUL BMW M8 GTE.

One day after Maximilian Günther’s (GER) acclaimed victory at the Formula E season finale at Berlin-Tempelhof (GER), the BMW i Andretti Motorsport drivers failed to pick up points in the race on Sunday.
The privateer BMW racers from around the world will take each other on in a unique competition once again in 2019: The BMW Motorrad Race Trophy enters its sixth season. BMW Motorrad Motorsport will once again distribute a total of more than 100,000 euros in prize money among the best participants this year. The regulations have been revised in various areas, giving them a simpler structure.
Moving into the final stages of the 2017 DTM season, the BMW teams are in action at the Red Bull Ring at Spielberg (AUT) this weekend. The BMW drivers will take part in rounds 15 and 16 of the season at the Austrian track. The circuit, with the picturesque alpine backdrop, is popular with the drivers. BMW has celebrated numerous great successes there in the past, including four wins since the BMW DTM comeback in 2012.
The 13th and 14th races of the 2017 DTM season will see BMW Motorsport competing at an historic venue. The BMW teams are heading into the final third of the season at the Nürburgring (GER). BMW shares a long and successful history with the famous circuit in the Eifel region. BMW teams have celebrated successes there in recent DTM history and there was a win for the BMW M4 DTM in every year since 2014.
The BMW Motorrad Motorsport family can celebrate a victory in the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC): team Völpker NRT48 Schubert-Motors by ERC took the Superstock class win in the 8-hour race at the Slovakia Ring near Bratislava (SVK).The BMW teams were supported on site by the BMW Motorrad Motorsport experts.
The DTM travels to the Netherlands for the fifth race weekend of the 2016 season: BMW Motorsport will be in action at the iconic “Circuit Park Zandvoort” (NL) from 15th to 17th July.
The highlights come thick and fast in the 2016 DTM season. Three weeks after the Motorsport Festival at the Lausitzring (DE), the BMW DTM teams travel to the only street race of the year at the Norisring (DE). Ever since the series was held for the first time in 1984, the 2.3-kilometre street circuit around the Dutzendteich lake in Nuremberg (DE) has been a permanent fixture on the DTM calendar.
The DTM fans are in for a real treat at the third round of the 2016 season: in combination with the ADAC GT Masters and the SUPERBIKE*IDM, the series will be part of a very special motorsport festival at the Lausitzring (DE). BMW is well-represented in all three championships.
