New BMW Rear Seat Infotainment feature. BMW Individual presents innovative product.

Munich. The BMW Individual range not only features exclusive paint
finishes and materials, but also innovative and comfortable product
solutions. The latest example is the new BMW Individual Rear Seat
Infotainment Online feature. This fully integrated system permits the
use of multimedia applications and ensures perfect rear seat
entertainment. It features two ergonomic 9.5 inch LCD monitors (16:9)
elegantly integrated behind the headrests which can show separate
contents in two different sizes (part screen and full screen). In this
way the user can surf the Internet on one monitor while the second rear
seat passenger looks at a film or follows the navigation system
information. The rear seat passengers can comfortably operate DVD, TV,
navigation and on-board computer using the rear controller. The
infotainment computer features Internet access and permits e-mail
correspondence including a viewer for opening attachments. A specially
adapted Internet browser by BMW Individual permits free access to the
Internet. Data is input using a comfortable remote radio keyboard and
memory card slots ensure smooth data exchange. You can for example
insert a digital camera memory card into the car infotainment computer
and view the pictures on the monitor. Two high-grade audio headsets can
also be attached to the central armrest.
