BMW Group Financial Services Latin America announces organizational changes.

Ciudad de México. April 30, 2026. Ole Jensen, President and CEO of BMW Group Financial Services for the Americas Region announced today that Holger Spiegel is appointed Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group Financial Services Mexico and Importer Markets and will relocate to Mexico City. Holger will succeed Mario Lourenco, who will take on a new challenge as CEO of BMW Group Financial Services Australia. Both changes are effective on August 1^st.

Holger Spiegel is originally from Germany. He graduated as an engineer from the University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt, holds an MBA in International Business from the same institution, and earned a PhD in Strategic Management from Comenius University. He began with the BMW Group in 2014 as the Head of International Finance at Financial Services in Munich. Since then, he has acted as CFO for BMW Amazonia (where he helped establish the BMW Motorrad Plant in Manaus, Brazil) and for BMW Group Financial Services in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In April 2023, he was appointed CFO of BMW Group Financial Services Canada. Holger’s 30 years in the automotive industry have taken him all over the world.
