BMW Motorrad's first autonomous motorbike was presented last week at the BMW Motorrad Techday 2018. A BMW R 1200 GS made its first rounds in front of assembled journalists, as if by magic, at the BMW Group testing ground in Miramas, southern France.

The GS Trophy is heading to Mongolia in June 2018 for what will be its biggest challenge yet. With three new teams joining the competition (Australia, India and a second International Female Team) and now with eight days of competition, to allow for the huge distances, the sixth BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy, the Central Asia 2018 edition, is set to break all records.

At the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2017, the BMW Group is presenting its vision of zero-emission urban mobility on two wheels: the BMW Motorrad Concept Link. Inspired by the BMW Motorrad Vision Next 100, the design study unites digital connectivity with the demands of urban mobility on two wheels. It treads new paths and moves beyond established conventions both with regard to design and technology.

Munich/Chiang Dao. What a thrilling final day at the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy. After seven days of intense, yet friendly competition, nearly 1,400 kilometres of memorable riding and a whole week's worth of unforgettable daily Special tests, the GS Trophy Southeast Asia 2016 reached its conclusion with Team South Africa crowned thoroughly deserved winners by a margin of 31 points.
