Jakarta. BMW has been awarded a total of nine accolades from three local automobile magazines, Auto Bild Indonesia, MobilMotor and Top Gear Indonesia, in September 2005, reflecting the company's outstanding record of performance and quality.

Jakarta. BMW has been awarded a total of nine accolades from three
local automobile magazines, Auto Bild Indonesia, MobilMotor and Top
Gear Indonesia, in September 2005, reflecting the company's outstanding
record of performance and quality. The Auto Bild Indonesia Award 2005
honored BMW with 4 awards. The new BMW 7 Series clinched the award for
the "Big Luxury Car", the new BMW 5 Series earned the title
of "Best in Medium Luxury Sedan", the new BMW 3 Series headed
the "Small Luxury Car" category, while the BMW X3 won the
"Best in Big SUV" garland. The awards were presented by the
Chief Editor of Auto Bild Indonesia to Josef Honsel, President Director
of BMW Indonesia, on September 29, 2005. At the same time, MobilMotor
awarded BMW with 3 awards in the Indonesian Car of the Year competition
and winning in every categories of its class. The new BMW 325i has
outstripped the field to become the "Best Premium Sedan",
while in the category of "Best Exclusive Sedan", BMW 530i won
the award. In addition, MobilMotor hailed the new BMW 120i as the
"Best Hatchback Sedan". The accolade was presented by the
Chief Editor of MobilMotor to Josef Honsel, President Director of BMW
Indonesia on September 28, 2005. The 4th annual Top Gear Best Choice
2005 competition also saw BMW garner two awards. The new BMW 3 Series
won the "Best Executive" category by unanimous vote of the
judges who were drawn from the ranks of the journalists themselves.
"This is the most visually-pleasing design from the latest
generation of 3 series," said Top Gear's chief editor at the
presentation of the awards on September 1, 2005. Winning the
"Best Sports Coupe" category was the BMW 645 Ci, according to
Top Gear, this is a genuine grand tourer which gives sheer driving
pleasure, character and sportiness. "These nine awards, which
came in quick succession, represent a significant milestone for BMW
Indonesia, as its leadership in producing exceptional cars and
delivering high quality services has been reaffirmed by the industry and
our customers," remarked Josef Honsel. BMW in Indonesia PT
