BMW Group Middle East announces a significant leadership change effective from 1 April 2024. Karim-Christian Haririan will assume the role of Managing Director, succeeding Dr. Hamid Haqparwar who departs the BMW Group after 18 years with the company and holding the position as Managing Director of BMW Group Middle East since 2018.
The BMW Group announced the appointment of Jean-Philippe Parain as Senior Vice President Sales Regions Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Parain will succeed Hendrik von Kuenheim, who took the decision to retire after 37 years at the BMW Group.

BMW Group Middle East, responsible for BMW and MINI business operations across the region, has today announced the appointment of Osama Sherif as its new Head of Corporate Communications with effect from 1st of September 2021.
The BMW Group’s production locations in Munich, Oxford and Spartanburg will have new plant directors from 1 September.

Oliver Zipse will assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG effective on 16 August 2019. The company’s Supervisory Board made this decision today during its meeting in Spartanburg, South Carolina (USA). Zipse will succeed Harald Krüger, who informed the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the beginning of July that he would not seek a second term of office.
From May 2019, Uwe Holzer will take on the role of Vice President International Corporate and Special Sales at the BMW Group.
Sales and marketing operations in Asia Pacific (excluding China), Eastern Europe (outside EU), the Middle East and Africa will be integrated into a single sales region. Hendrik von Kuenheim will take responsibility for this new region on 1st February 2019 and further leverage the opportunities for growth in this dynamic set of countries.
