BMW Delivers the Ultimate European Driving Experience.

Whitby, ON – Ever wanted to push your BMW to its maximum horsepower and speed limit while on Germany’s famed Autobahn? How about test out your BMW’s superior responsiveness and agility while traversing some of the curviest roads in the Swiss Alps? With BMW’s new European Delivery, Canadians who buy, lease or finance a BMW can now experience all Europe has to offer from the comfort of their own Canadian-specified BMW.

BMW is the only automotive manufacturer in Canada that allows lease and finance customers to take part in a European Delivery program as well as purchase customers.

Through BMW’s European Delivery program, customers who order their car in Canada can chose to take delivery of their new vehicle in Germany for the same price. Delivery of the vehicle will take place at BMW Welt, BMW’s state-of-the-art delivery centre in Munich. Included in the European Delivery is a complimentary opportunity to tour BMW Welt, the new BMW Museum, as well as a factory tour in Munich to see how their vehicle is made.

Once a customer takes delivery of their new vehicle in Europe, they can travel the continent behind the wheel of their own car for up to five months, saving on the hassle and expense of a rental vehicle. When the customer is ready to return to Canada, they can drop their vehicle off at one of various locations within 6 countries (Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Holland). In approximately 6-8 weeks, the customer takes a second delivery of their BMW at their local retailer in Canada.

For all European Deliveries, a delivery specialist will provide a comprehensive briefing, which is adapted specifically to the customer’s unique vehicle. This one-of-a-kind demonstration acquaints the customer with their new car and its features. With the aid of films and multimedia applications, the delivery specialist will brief the customer on all the important functions and equipment features of their car.

Registering for the European Delivery is simple. The local BMW retailer will arrange everything on behalf of the customer. European insurance (up to 14 days), duty, license plate fees and the shipping of your vehicle back to Canada are all included in the original cost of the vehcile.
