Munich. After inspecting the six short-listed ideas from among the 19 concepts
entered, the panel of judges has concluded the second round of the "Goodbye
Limits" design competition by announcing that the winners are Andreea Ambs and
Caroline Dorn, a team of students from the German Fashion School. Their concept
of suspending Formula 1 tyres and employing them as unusual product displays
will now be used in the shop window of the PUMA Concept Store in Munich.

"We were really impressed by all six concepts and the choice wasn't an easy
one," says panel member Siglinde Zisler, Director of the German Fashion School.
"The shop window design concepts for the PUMA for BMW WilliamsF1 Team
Collection were all really creative. The winning concept particularly impressed
us because it offers an optimum means of displaying goods and has an authentic
motor sport feel to it."

"Goodbye Limits"
BMW and PUMA launched the "Goodbye Limits" design competition in early May in
conjunction with the German Fashion School. The participating students were
presented with the following challenge in the PUMA Concept Store in Munich - to
create a shop window design for the PUMA for BMW WilliamsF1 Team Collection
2005 which could be used in the shop window of the PUMA Concept Store. Eleven
teams of students came up with a total of 19 ideas and submitted their draft
designs to the panel of judges.

On the panel were Grit Grassberger, BMW Product Management Merchandising &
Lifestyle, Annika Möller, Visual Merchandising Manager Central Europe at PUMA
AG, and Siglinde Zisler, Director of the German Fashion School. In the first
selection round, they assessed the draft designs. Six designs were short-listed
for the final round and the students created detailed models of their ideas.
The winning concept was "Wheels" by Ambs and Dorn.

To coincide with the German Formula 1 Grand Prix in Hockenheim on 24th July
2005, the winning design for the PUMA for BMW WilliamsF1 Team Collection will
be on display in the window of the PUMA Concept Stores in Munich city centre
from 16th to 30th July 2005.

The PUMA for BMW WilliamsF1 Team Collection 2005 comprises a total of 24
products including jackets, trousers, shoes and accessories. The PUMA for BMW
WilliamsF1 Team Collection 2005 is available from selected BMW dealers, at the
racing circuit, from PUMA Concept stores and on the Internet at the Pitshop,
which can be found at www.bmw.williamsf1.com.

The prices of all products can be found in the catalogue or on the Internet.
