BMW Group Canada appoints new Vice President of BMW Group Financial Services

Whitby, ON. BMW Group Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Pascal
Orsolle to the position of Chief Financial Officer, BMW Group Financial
Services Canada, effective October 1, 2008. Reporting to the President, Ian
Smith, Pascal will be responsible for Controlling and Accounting, Information
Systems, Risk Management, Human Resources, Legal and general managerial
functions for BMW Group Financial Services Canada.

Pascal began his career with BMW Group in 1998 in France. There he worked at
BMW Group Financial Services as their Financial Controller and Finance Director
for eight years. Most recently, Pascal worked at BMW AG in Munich, Germany as
Finance Director for African and Caribbean markets, a position he held since
October 2006.

He holds a Master of Science in Management from the Ecole Supérieure de
Commerce de Rouen, in France which included one semester exchange in the MBA
program of the University of Toronto. Pascal also has a diploma in Accounting
and Finance from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers which makes him
very well qualified for his new position.

Pascal will be succeeding Jim Oskey, who has been the Chief Financial Officer
for BMW Group Financial Services Canada since March, 2005. Jim will be Chief
Financial Officer for BMW Group Financial Services, South Korea, effective
October 1, 2008. Jim began at BMW Group in 1995 in various finance roles in
the United States. In 2001, Jim took a Controlling position with BMW AG, and
returned to the United States a year later in the same position.

BMW Group Canada, based in Whitby, Ontario, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BMW
AG and is responsible for the distribution of BMW luxury performance
automobiles, Sports Activity Vehicles, Motorcycles, and MINI. BMW Group
Financial Services Canada is a division of BMW Group Canada and offers retail
financing and leasing programs and protection products on new and pre-owned BMW
and MINI automobiles, as well as retail financing for new and pre-owned BMW
Motorcycles. A total network of 40 BMW automobile retail centres, 19 BMW
motorcycle retailers, and 25 MINI retailers represents the BMW Group across the
country.
