BMW Group Canada achieves best-ever year-to-date sales.

Richmond Hill, ON.  BMW Group Canada (BMW and MINI brands combined) reported sales of 3,953 vehicles resulting in a decrease of -3.8 per cent as compared to November 2015. On the year, the Group reported sales of 41,326 vehicles, an increase of +5.8 per cent over the same period in 2015.

BMW.

BMW reported sales of 3,403 units resulting in an increase of +1 per cent over November 2015. Year-to-date BMW sales total 35,067 units, an increase of +8 per cent over the same period last year. November represents the 11th consecutive month of year-over-year growth. The flagship BMW 7 Series and the BMW X5, together with the all-electric BMW i3 and plug in hybrid BMW i8, were all top performers in the month.

MINI.

The MINI brand reported 550 sales in November, a decrease of -24.9 per cent over November 2015. On the year, MINI has sold 6,259 units representing a decrease of -4.1 per cent as compared to the same period last year. The MINI Clubman enjoyed its best-ever sales in November. And, with winter almost upon us, it was no surprise the all-new Cooper and Cooper S Clubman ALL4 models were strong performers.

Motorrad.

BMW Motorrad Canada reported 60 units sold in November, an increase of +20 per cent compared to November 2015. Year-to-date, the brand has sold 1,818 units, resulting in a decrease of -8.2 per cent over the same period last year. The R1200RT and R1200GSA continued their strong performance in November.
