Richmond Hill, ON. BMW Group Canada is proud to introduce the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe to Canada for a limited time and in a special form: the new 2024 BMW M440i xDrive Gran Coupe Legacy Edition. Limited to 300 units and exclusive to the Canadian market, the Gran Coupe Legacy Edition comes well-equipped in one of six exclusive colour combinations, including three Individual Manufaktur colours. The limited-edition 4-door coupe will be available in Canadian BMW retailers as of January 2024 with a base MSRP of $81,750 CAD.
The most striking element of the BMW M440i xDrive Gran Coupe Legacy Edition is the exclusive colour combinations. The first three combinations are limited to 75 units each and feature factory paints, while the final three combinations are limited to 25 units each and feature Individual Manufaktur paints paired with upgraded BMW Individual Merino Leather in complimentary colours.

- Brooklyn Grey over Tacora Red Vernasca Leather (75 units)
- Mineral White over Black Vernasca Leather (75 units)
- Violet Blue over Ivory White Merino Leather (25 units)
- Dark Emerald Green over Tartufo Merino Leather (25 units)
- Imola Red over Black Merino Leather (25 units)
The 300 vehicles are all well-equipped with Premium Enhanced Package, M Sport Pro Package and additional contents such as Adaptive M Suspension, Front and Rear Heated Seats, Carbon Fibre Interior Trim, Wireless Charging and eye-catching, 20-inch BMW Individual wheels (Style 826l).
The 75 units with Individual Manufaktur paints will also be fitted with the BMW M Performance Exhaust for enhanced sound and performance and retail for $89,750 CAD.
The BMW M440i xDrive Gran Coupe Legacy Edition is powered by the award-winning B58 3.0-litre inline 6-cylinder BMW TwinPower turbocharged engine producing 382 hp and 369 ft-lb of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and can reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The BMW M440i xDrive Gran Coupe Legacy Edition includes a standard 8-speed sport automatic transmission with launch control and rear M Sport differential which helps improve traction by equalizing drive torque between the left and right rear wheels under acceleration.
Production of the 2024 BMW M440i xDrive Gran Coupe Legacy Edition will begin in November 2023 at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing in Germany. Interested customers are asked to contact their local BMW retailers for more information and availability.
