Since late December and throughout January, the BMW Summer action (BMW Sommerhaus.12) in Punta del Este is home to numerous activities for clients and friends. Among the most exciting opportunities are the BMW Motorrad Summer Rides, motorcycle getaways accompanied by expert local guides that offer the chance to discover the beautiful surrounding landscapes.
The getaways begin at the BMW House and focus on the idyllic surroundings of Punta del Este. BMW customers can try out different brand models including the entire GS line for road and enduro. They may also admire some of the top BMW Motorrad attractions such as the renowned BMW K 1600 GT, the first six-cylinder motorcycle from the Bavarian brand.
On December 30, several VIPs travelled to Uruguay to take part in the first Summer Ride of the season. These included Dr. Alexander Wehr (CEO of BMW Group Latin America), Nando Parrado, Ignacio Viale and Toti Gattás among others. As part of this special occasion, famed photographer Henry von Wartenberg participated as getaway guide.
