Rijswijk. De BMW M6 Gran Coupé staat vanaf juli in de showroom voor een prijs vanaf € 158.000,-. Dit model koppelt de elegante lijnen van een coupé en het ruime luxe interieur aan de prestaties van een rasechte sportauto. Maar dan één, waarin vijf inzittenden kunnen genieten van de kracht en dynamiek die een M6 biedt. De BMW M6 Gran Coupé is immers één van de weinige in zijn soort met een 4+1-interieur. De BMW 6 Serie Gran Coupé is inmiddels een halfjaar in Nederland leverbaar. Dit model valt op door een zeer elegant silhouet. Hierin is de sportieve aflopende daklijn van de 6 Serie Coupé en Cabrio herkenbaar. De daklijn loopt echter verder door naar achteren en er zijn vier portieren in plaats van twee. Hierdoor is de binnenruimte groter.

Standaard uitrusting
De BMW M6 Gran Coupé is standaard rijk uitgerust met onder meer 20 inch wielen en het gebruik van hoogwaardige materialen in het interieur, zoals Merino lederen bekleding en interieurlijsten van carbonfiber. De standaard uitrusting is verder uitgebreid met onder meer verwarmbare en elektrisch verstelbare voorstoelen met geheugenfunctie, Active M onderstel met M Dynamic Damper Control en M DSC. Ook standaard zijn de innovatieve LED-koplampen met bochtverlichting, variabele lichtverdeling, dynamische verlichting en grootlichtassistent.

Daarnaast wordt in Nederland de M6 Gran Coupé standaard geleverd met het BMW Navigatiesysteem Professional, uitgebreide Bluetooth-telefoonvoorbereiding, Emergency Call en ConnectedDrive Services, inclusief BMW Apps en Google send-to-car. Om het comfort achterin naar het hoogst mogelijke niveau te tillen, kunnen kopers van de M6 Gran Coupé kiezen uit per zitplek afzonderlijk instelbare climate control, stoelverwarming en elektrisch bedienbare zonwering bij de achterruiten.

Prestaties
De grootste aantrekkingskracht van de M6 Gran Coupé ligt echter onder de motorkap. Dat is de fabuleuze V8 met M TwinPower Turbo-techniek. Die levert net als bij de M6 Coupé en Cabrio een vermogen van 412 kW (560 pk) en een maximale trekkracht van 680 Nm. Daarmee accelereert de Gran Coupé van nul naar honderd kilometer per uur in 4,2 seconden. Een 7-traps M DCT Drivelogic-transmissie met een dubbele koppeling dirigeert de kracht naar de aangedreven achterwielen. Een Auto Start Stop-functie is geïntegreerd om zo ook bij deze sportieve M6 versie te zorgen voor een zo gunstig mogelijk brandstofverbruik.

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.
