in every respect, in each and every feature of the customer's motorcycle: BMW
Motorrad is presenting BMW Motorrad High Performance Parts for the first time
worldwide at the Intermot 2006 Motorcycle Show.

The term "High Performance" or "HP" for short was used by BMW Motorrad for the
first time in September 2005, hailing the market launch of the BMW HP2 Enduro,
a motorcycle designed and built without compromises for the highest standards
of performance, quality, and exclusivity. The High Performance Accessories Line
follows the same principle, enabling the really demanding rider of a BMW
motorcycle to enjoy an utmost standard of
function with even greater sporting orientation, individual design and optical
tuning. And with all components being perfectly matched to one another,
together with the wide range of fine and well-conceived details, riding
pleasure of the highest calibre is guaranteed.

The accessories include high-quality lightweight and tuning components made of
carbon-fibre, exclusive CNC-milled running gear components, and forged wheels.
Depending on the components chosen and the overall combination of features, the
customer is even able to further reduce the overall weight of the motorcycle
for even better handling. Beautiful in their design and appearance, BMW
Motorrad High Performance Parts and the most sophisticated materials also
ensure customisation to the highest standard, making each motorcycle a genuine
eye-catcher. A further point is that most Accessories are clearly marked by the

The first BMW Motorrad High Performance Parts will be available in autumn 2006.
Right now, the focus is on the R 1200 S, the K 1200 S, the K 1200 R and the
newly introduced K 1200 R Sport. However, parts and components for all other
sports models within the wide range of BMW Motorrad are currently in
preparation, with the range of items being consistently expanded step-by-step.
