Munich. Met ingang van 1 september 2023 is Isabel Richter Head of Sustainability Communications bij de BMW Group, verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling, coördinatie en implementatie van communicatieberichten over duurzaamheid. Isabel Richter is toegewezen aan de hoofdafdeling van Alexander Bilgeri, Vice President Communications Human Resources, Productie, Inkoop en Duurzaamheid. Richter is afkomstig van Microsoft Duitsland, waar ze als Corporate Communications Lead verantwoordelijk was voor economische en bedrijfsstrategische onderwerpen, zoals digitale transformatie en AI, cyberbeveiliging, maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen en duurzaamheid. Ook leidde ze de communicatie in Berlijn, waar ze vorm gaf aan de digitale beleidsdialoog met de pers, beleidsmakers en de samenleving en waar ze digitale public affairs oprichtte.
Voordat zij bij Microsoft ging werken, was Richter hoofd van de
afdeling Milieu en Duurzaamheid bij de digitale vereniging BITKOM in
Berlijn. Richter begon haar carrière in bedrijfscommunicatie bij IBM
in Londen, waarna ze enkele jaren werkte voor
communicatiebureau
Waggener Edstrom in Londen, Seattle en München. Mevrouw Richter
behaalde een diploma in communicatie- en mediastudies aan de
universiteit van Leipzig.
